You’re Not My Dad: The Difficulties of Stepfathering by
Gordon A. Taylor
There are all kinds of fathers, biological, divorced, adoptive, single, STEPFATHERS, foster, good, bad, absent and of course our Heavenly Father. In light of their importance, how do fathers learn to be fathers? The sad truth is many, if not most, don’t. Being a biological father is tough enough, but how can we do stepfathering effectively when the kids aren’t even ours.
This ministry team is dedicated to the introduction, education,
training and resourcing of Stepfamily ministry in the local church and other
organizations. They will do this by speaking, writing, training
and developing resources for those working in this vital area of ministry. Their
work will be posted on www.amfmonline.com,
on their individual websites and trained at one of the AMFM Marriage
and Family Ministries annual conferences. Please feel free to directly
connect with all of our partners you see featured in this ministry
area.
