One Definition of Unforgiveness:

“Like Drinking Poison and hoping someone else would die.”

                                                Rudy Tomjanovich

We’ve known Nancy Leigh DeMoss since back in the 80s when she and Jennifer traveled together with Life Action Ministries from Buchanan, Michigan. Eric went to college with her little brother, David, and knew her other brother, Mark.

She has always been such an inspirational writer and her newest book is no exception.  Choosing Forgiveness is powerful and if you haven’t read it we encourage you to do so.  Even two of our children, Hudson and Erika, have enjoyed reading some of the life stories she has written about in this amazing book.

Leadership

"A Story is Worth a Thousand Opinions" - by Bruce McNicol

In January, I offered this leader development principle for you. Hide Nothing. February’s column taught us why: Integrity is formed when I am free to declare who I am and who I am not; when I am free to declare what I can do, and what I cannot do. This month, an incredibly vulnerable story HiHifrom a leader in Brazil will validate these two principles.

"Misconceptions About Prayer" - by Jennifer Kennedy Dean

#2: Some pray as if prayer will give God new information or inspire in Him new ideas.

Do your prayers have power? That’s the question we are addressing in this series of articles. What makes prayer work the way the Scripture says it will work—releasing the power of heaven into the circumstances of earth? Last month, we started examining misconceptions about prayer that keep us from experiencing prayer the way God intends for us to experience it. This month we’ll consider misconception number two: Some pray as if prayer will give God new information or inspire in Him new ideas.

- by Judy Santos, Christian Life Coaching Focus Group

While change is a part of every aspect of life, we tend to resist it. From the moment we come into the world to the time we leave it, we’re both in the midst of it and a product of it. What can we do to brace ourselves for change so it becomes a more positive experience in perception as well as reality?
