Pantano Christian Church

PCC is a grace-based church whose mission is to connect people to Christ and each other and to equip them for service in the Kingdom.
Marriage and Family Ministry:
Family Ministry is intentionally partnering with individuals and family groups, of all types/ages, to communicate biblical truths related to living together in community.
The goal is to connect people to God and one another; to learn to see people as God sees them so we can love them like God does.
The mission of our ministry is to effectively and intentionally minister to singles, couples and families and to connect them as faith-families. As connected, loved, growing and equipped members of faith-family communities, they can live out their faith via the passion God has instilled in each of them.
Guiding principles:
- Meet people at the point of their need.
- Create a structure that serves people.
- Develop authentic relationships.
- Equip, empower and launch passionate people.

Welcome to the PCC Pathway
The mission of Pantano Christian Church is to launch passionate people who desire to love people to Jesus and make our world different. We discover our God given passions and gifts as we journey together along the PCC Pathway. Take a STEP along the Pathway and begin to make our world different!
All of us are at differing stages in our faith journey and therefore at different locations on the Pathway. The PCC Pathway is about enabling each of us to further our journey regardless of whether we are new to this thing called church or we have been actively involved in a church throughout our life.
Our journey along the Pathway is shared with others in Life groups or small groups of people who share similar interests and passions. As Christians we seek to be continually transforming into Christ’s likeness and recognize that we are entrusted by God with time, talents and treasures in order to effectively participate in the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:35-40) and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20)

Pantano’s core values are described using the acronym STEP. Everyone at PCC is encouraged to Take the STEP by embracing all four of our core values and take a step along the Pathway that will empower each of us to love people to Jesus and make our world different. The steps along the Pathway will occur primarily in the context of Life Groups that utilize training and hands-on experiences which are designed to develop these values in the life of every PCC family member.
We connect with God and others in Life Groups where we can know others and be known by them, where we can serve and be served.
We seek to live in rhythm with God and invite Jesus to continually be formed in us and transform us.
We recognize that God is the giver of life and the owner of all we have in this world. We are given the responsibility of managing what He has entrusted to our care for Kingdom purposes.
We are here to serve, not to sit; to contribute our gifts and strengths so together we can engage God’s Kingdom in the world. |
