Ministry Team Summary
The Church Based Counseling Team’s mission is to assist
local church ministry leaders in the ministry areas of encouragement,
lay counseling, equipping and training. For over two thousand years,
the local church has done an exceptional job in regards to caring
for the whole person. As we continue to lean into the 21st Century,
churches will need to continue to develop both internal and external
resources to help hurting people.
AMFM’s heartbeat is the local church. Our desire is to be
a resource for you as you and your ministry teams move forward in
your ministries of healing, recovery and reconciliation. Each month
we will include resources that will help you minister ways that
will bring about life change in your church and community.
In order to provide effective, appropriate counseling, coaching
and encouragement we must consistently grow in our understanding
who it is we minister to.
AMFM conferences will give us an opportunity to meet and visit
about ideas, options, and ways for providing ministry to members of our local
congregations and to our local communities. The Church Based Counseling Team
is actively seeking partners to help the local church be the best it can be.
